A rare micro dwarf with very compact growth and stunning, pale grey-green foliage, covered in tiny hairs, giving the plants the appearance of “lamb’s ear”. Honestly, it’s hard to walk past without stroking this one. Even my DEFRA inspector said it was cute! I would love to see this in planters up and down the country, it is so decorative and rewarding, and the fruits are lovely and tasty too!

They can even be grown indoors, through the winter, on a sunny windowsill (although for best growth, some grow lights will help). They come in many different colours, flavours and leaf types, so as well as being delicious and productive for their size, they are also decorative.
Sow all year round indoors, plant out when all risk of frost has passed.
