A saladette bred by Lee Goodwin, USA, Thunder Mountain is a striking, truly orange tomato with light antho smudging on the shoulders. Mine were grown in a shaded polytunnel, so this may come out more in direct sunlight. On slicing, they reveal a genuine apricot flesh, with a hit of bicolour at the centre. The riper you leave them, the more the pink comes through. The flavour does not disappoint either; this is one of my favourite saladettes to date.
Indeterminate, regular leaf. Potentially slightly unstable?
