Developed as part of the Oregon State University’s “Indigo” high-flavonoid breeding programme, Indigo Peardrops Pink is a particularly striking member of the IndigoTM family. Plants are extremely productive and do well outdoors, producing long trusses of these elongated, bottle-shaped cherry tomatoes. Sweet and tangy, these are fabulous to add to a salad, alongside other striking cherries, like Elf Tears, and SkyeBlu.
Indeterminate, regular leaf, mid season onwards
Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency. They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level). They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential.
