Fantastically striking, medium sized, beefsteak fruit. Stocky, indeterminate plants that produced well in our garden. A relatively new variety bred by Jessica Hughes of Canada, which has an interesting story behind it. The initial plant was discovered as a mutation from Green Zebra, which she named after her dog, Girl Girl, who loved to eat them! It has risen in popularity within the growing community due to its combination of great looks and fantastic flavour. Expect rich, heirloom tomato flavour and beautifully balanced sweetness with just enough tang to leave your mouth watering!
Indeterminate, regular leaf, mid season production
Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency. They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level). They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential.
