Dynamite Delight is a micro dwarf variety developed by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms, and released in 2024. It is an extremely attractive plant, with an upright habit and high production of what are really quite large fruits for a micro. Red and gold striped plums that are suitable for salads and slicing. Great looks and flavour, and only reaching around 30cm, but it will need some support because the fruit are so large.
Micro dwarf plants are a really rewarding addition to your garden, and because of their small size they can be happily grown in a 2lt pot, outside your front door, in a window box or on a balcony. They can even be grown indoors, through the winter, on a sunny windowsill (although for best growth, some grow lights will help). They come in many different colours, flavours and leaf types, so as well as being delicious and productive for their size, they are also decorative.
Sow all year round indoors, plant out when all risk of frost has passed.
