Cosmic Burst
A new release in 2024 from Wild Boar Farms, we are delighted to offer seeds for Cosmic Burst. Mid-size saladette type tomatoes with two stages of ripening. Initially, they are two-tone green striped with antho shoulders and striping. As they ripen, they first turn yellow with antho stripes, with a pink spash in the interior. They can be enjoyed at this stage, or left to ripen further, when they will slowly take on a more orange-red colouring. Stunning at all stages, and a great one to add variety to the basket! Good productivity on compact indeterminate plants. Regular leaves, mid season.
Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency. They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level). They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential. See the guide on pruning indeterminates in the resources section of the website for tips.
