Blues on the Platter Pink F2

£4.50

Our selection from the original creation from Sofia Saakova is a yellow oxheart with antho colouring. This variety is very experimental and splits are likely. The result of a cross between Great White Blue and Pink Dish. Sofia’s fruits are large creamy yellow hearts, streaked with anthocyanin and hanging in huge clusters. This split is identical except in base colour, showing the raspberry-pink of one of its parents. Sweet and fruity taste, with more acidity than the yellow version.

Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency.  They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level).  They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential.  See the guide on pruning indeterminates in the resources section of the website for tips.
