Gorgeous, big beefsteaks! This is a split from Sofia Saakova’s variety Bliss, which was selected by Tantjana Nagle. It differs from the original in having significant striping on the skin. This variety is a true tri-colour, with antho too. Externally, large, lobed beefsteaks are striped in green, yellow and red, with antho shoulders and streaks overlayed. Internally, the flesh is green and yellow, with red veining originating at the base, and spreading theroughout the fruit as it ripens.
Indeterminate, stocky, regular leaved plants. Mid-late production
Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency. They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level). They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential.
