Atomic fusion is the creation of Brad Gates, of Wild Boar Farms. A saladette sized round-plum tomato streaked with anthocyanin, red and gold, which was a selection from Brad’s Atomic Grape, providing the same fantastic sweet flavour, extended hanging time, and prolific production with a bigger, meatier body. The flesh is yellow, streaked with red, and the gel is often green, packed with tangy flavour. Indeterminate growth, regular leaf.
Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency. They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level). They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential.
