A real showstopper! Alice’s Dream is a regular leaved indeterminate plant with strong growth and prolific production. Midsize beefsteak tomatoes in yellow and red striped with stunning anthocyanin shoulders, golden flesh with a sweet red core. Developed by Zbigniew Pawluczuk of Poland, the original versions of the variety showed the heavy ribbing you see in this strain. Sadly this has been lost through successive generations, and I am seeking to return the variety to the breeders original vision.
Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency. They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level). They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential.
