AAA Sweet Solano
One of the most delicious yellows I have ever tasted! A recent release from Wild Boar Farms, AAA Sweet Solano is a large round slicing tomato, with a great balance of sweet and tangy flavour. As it ripens, the green stripes on its skin progress to golden yellow, and the fruit can be eaten at various stages of ripeness and colour development. A compact indeterminate up to ±150cm, it is best grown with two or three leaders. 75 days
Indeterminate plants are vigorous plants with a vining tendency. They set their fruits at intervals along their stems, and will readily grow side shoots and suckers (shoots from ground level). They need good, strong support, and it is advisable to remove the majority of the side shoots and suckers unless you have plenty of space and fertile soil to allow them to grow to their full potential. See the guide on pruning indeterminates in the resources section of the website for tips.
